Gallery Intern: Navillus Gallery Toronto
Navillus Gallery, a new major contemporary art gallery in Yorkville, is seeking a reliable and energetic intern to commit to 2‐3 days a week starting this winter. This position is ideal for students with a demonstrated interest in contemporary art who wish to gain experience working in a gallery. The intern would be exposed to the work of artists from Canada, the United States and Europe.
Responsibilities include answering telephones, greeting patrons and clients, updating the gallery’s database, and assisting with various administrative tasks pertinent to the gallery’s operation. This position will also require candidates to be available for exhibition openings and special events.
Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills, be professional and enthusiastic, and will have no problem multi‐tasking and working efficiently.
